Leave Your Furry Friend with Someone You Can Trust

It’s no secret that goodbyes can be tough. It’s difficult to leave your pet behind when you head out of town. You wonder if they’re lonely, eating on schedule, socializing and getting exercise. At South Sioux Animal Hospital, we want you to feel secure in knowing your furry pal is in a clean, safe environment and getting the love and attention it needs until you return. We offer boarding services for both dogs and cats.

All the Comforts of Home

If we were to venture a guess as to what things keep your pet satisfied at home, we’d say a warm, dry, comfortable place to relax, adequate food and water, time to play, lots of attention and a good, long nap. At South Sioux Animal Hospital, your furry friend will receive all of these things, plus, he or she will be about as close to the veterinary clinic as is possible should the unexpected occur. We do provide food and bedding while your pets board with us, but you are welcome to bring your pet’s own food, blankets, bedding, toys if you would like.

Before You Come

We require that boarded animals are up to date on their vaccinations; this is for the health and safety of your pet and our other pets in our care. Dogs must be vaccinated for rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Cats must be vaccinated for rabies, FeLV and FVRCP. Should your pet require any of these vaccines, we’d be happy to vaccinate them when they come in for boarding. If fleas are noted on your pet, they will be treated at the owner’s expense.

Pick Up / Drop Off Hours

Monday through Friday 8am-5:30pm
Saturdays 9am-12pm and 2pm-3pm
Sundays 9am-11am.
